Tony's family attended Brockton schools & are life-long residents. A Marine Corps & Navy vet, he earned business & law degrees. An award-winning Manager, he is the Executive Administrator of a youth foundation, member of local boards, & volunteer in youth groups. Encouraged by countless supporters, Tony intends to be a 2005 candidate for Ward 7 City Councilor.

Tony's Mom & brother died in a fire at their northside home when Tony was six. Special thanks to firefighters who rescued his family.
The first Deacon at St Edward Church, his Dad, Don O'Brien, & his beloved 2nd Mom, Lorraine (Sabina), raised Tony's 7 siblings in Brockton. Lorraine also was a young widow & 1997 cancer victim. She & Tony shared the same birthday.
Brockton Golf Pro Gerry Mackedon is Tony's uncle.
