the famous horse from
Allamuchy, New Jersey...
has overcome tragedies in his life from being an orphaned colt to surviving a horrible trailer accident in 1998. He was not supposed to ever compete in shows or do parades again...
Pokey has proven...that with drive and determination, he can do anything. The children love POKEY for who he is and for how he makes them feel. (see Pokey's Story on STORIES & LINKS page)

He has been an inspiration
to alot of children and
adults throughout his life.
He has his own fan club
and is the subject for
