The Wardens and Vestry
At the Annual Meeting of the parish held towards the end of the year, a number of people are elected or appointed to oversea the work, plans and dreams of the Parish for twelve months.
The Vestry and Wardens, along with the Parish Priest meet on a regular basis to discuss, plan and implement projects which help the work of the Parish in and for the community in which God has placed us.
Our Vestry in 2005 sees one returning face, and one new, and continues as a mixture of youth and experience from a variety of cultures.
Most of the work of the Vestry is done in committees: Wardens, Pastoral Care, Maintenance, Catering, Finance, Youth and Fete.
Each committee consists of one or two vestry members who co-opt other members of the congregation to join with them in looking at one spefic aspect of our parish life. |
