Unitech Research has developed an advanced “Universal Energy Conservation System” which has a wide range of applications and can also incorporate pollution control options.

Unitech is able to assist it’s clients in designing smaller capacity steam boilers (1MW-100MW) which take full advantage of the patented energy recovery system. Flue gas can either be used to supplement steam production or used to preheat boiler feedwater at temperatures around 100oC-120oC.

Combined systems can also be catered for where it is desirable to preheat two or more different types of liquids directly with flue gas or perhaps one stage being a steam generator and other stages preheating liquids up to 100oC or higher depending on available energy.
The Energy Recovery Unit can operate as a Steam Boiler/Generator fired by gas, oil, wood or other waste flue gas and can include supplementary firing if required.

The large apertures coupled to self cleaning valves eliminates foulding of the heat transfer tubes and makes this type of system particularly efficient for many different types of boilers, furnaces, ovens and dryers. The system can be used as a heat recuperator for bakeries and food industries.

We are also able to design and build waste incinerators to burn domestic and industrial waste, which operates at temperatures of up to 1200oC with the waste energy used to generate electricity.

Unitech can design and build pressure vessels and heat exchangers which comply with Australian Standards. We use only the best materials to ensure long life and maintenance free operation.
