1. Unitech has been installed the “Energy Recovery Systems” (E.R.S.) to Alladin’s Laundry, Sydney in 1989 with a single stage unit (E.R.U. 2.5 MW capacity). The medium size “Heat Recovery System” has been operating continuously recording 80% to 90% transfer efficiency. Alladin’s has been making saving of over $5,000 per month.

2. The Diary Farmers (Wetherill Park Sydney), where the contract to design and install an “Energy Recovery Systems” (E.R.S.). A two-stage Energy Recovery Unit (E.R.U.) takes a flue gas from 2 x 3.5 MW boilers and passes it through the Patented System. The results speak for themselves; the plant now operates on one boiler where it previously needed two, and a staggering savings of $156.000 per annum has been achieved.

3. The Bruck Textiles Pty Ltd. “VICTORIA” has been installed Unitech 18MW “Heat Recovery Systems” to 3 x 6MW boilers, incorporated with two-stage “Heat Recovery Unit” (E.R.U.). Previously conventional ‘Economiser’ installed to each boiler has been recover 4.5% of the waste energy (flue gas), the Unitech system capture up the 90% of waste energy, and is incorporated with one unit (E.RU.) to operates 3 boilers via common ducting, and the Savings of $260.000 per annum has been achieved.

ADVANCED UNITECH

The main advantage of the ‘System’ are the high energy transfer rates which is made possible by a large intake capacity of the (E.R.U.) and relatively large intake apertures. This makes the systems suitable for a wide range of fuels including Coal, Wood, Oil and Natural Gas firing where residue can deposit over time, under formation of scale which reduces heat transfer efficiency. The Unitech (E.R.U.) comes equipped with steam injection for self-cleaning thus eliminating these problem and ensuring optimum efficiency.

APPLICATIONS

Food Industries, Brewery, Textiles, Shipping, Hospitals, Laundries, Refinery, Paper Mills, Sugar Mills, and cogeneration systems where a waste to energy system can be designed to produce electricity, steam generating plant or hot water.

POLLUTION CONTROL

Our system is environmentally – friendly by virtue of the fact that it reduces exit flue gas temperature down to about 50oC to 70oC.
